consultant at the clinic is a senior consultant dermatologist
practicing since 37 Yrs. After obtaining M.D.
degree in 1962 he proceeded to U.K. for higher studies &
experience in various skin clinics. He obtained his M.R.C.P.
degree with Dermatology as a speciality in 1966 from the
Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. In the year 1978
he was awarded F.R.C.P. from the same institution.
After return from U.K., in 1967 he was appointed as an Honorary
Assistant Professor of Dermatology at V.S. Hospital &
N.H.L. Medical College. He took active interest in teaching
Under graduate & Postgraduate students wanting to specialize
in Dermatology & STD .
He has been an examiner in Gujarat
University & other Universities of India on a number
of occasions. Various students who have passed under him
are now practicing as Consultant Dermatologists in Gujarat
& in other parts of India.
........He
was active in establishing Gujarat state Branch of Indian
Association of Dermatologist & Venereologist. He was
a President of Gujarat State Branch in 1981 – 1982.
On the National level he was vice – president Branch
of I.A.D.V.& L in the year 1981-1982.
In 1996 organized 24th National Conference of I.A.D.V.&
L was a chairperson of the conference. He was
many publication to his credit and has chaired many scientific
sessions at the National conferences.
Dr. Trupti B. Shah –
M.D., D.V. & D.
.........Chief
associate at the clinic. She took her M.D. degree in 1995
& joined the clinic in 1997. She looks after all the
patients & activity involved in all Dermatological
Procedures. She has presented few papers at the State
& National level & has taken part in many radio
talk shows.
