Wood’s lamp Examination
  • Wood’s lamp is considered as an important investigative tool in diagnosis of many dermatoses.
  • The lamp is a wood’s glass, primarily barium silicate containing 9% Nickel oxide is opaque to all light except for a band extending from 320—400nm.
  • 360nm. Is the wavelength emmited from it.

It is useful in diagnosis of the differentiation underlying disorder.
